Fungi, such as the tinder fungus, can be used to grow biodegradable materials – will we even be building houses out of fungi in the future? Come and visit us at the long night of science in the new House of Biotechnology (Si-M), meet scientists from the fields of biotechnology, materials research and architecture, and have a chat with them. In the children’s lab, you can carry out experiments yourself and discover the new fungal materials up close.
