Exhibition contribution at Deutsches Technikmuseum: „SuperCity 3000. Our City of the Future”

What will life be like in the city of the future? “SuperCity 3000. Our City of the Future” tackles a highly topical and socially relevant issue, as urban planning is a pressing challenge of our time that shapes every aspect of human life. In fact, 90 per cent of children in Germany already live in urban areas. Their voices must therefore be given greater consideration in urban planning.

Working on an equal footing, a team from the museum has developed the exhibition “SuperCity 3000. Our City of the Future” together with 60 children, our future curators. On display are models that these children from four Berlin schools have built for the exhibition. The exhibition also features innovative ideas and new technical developments designed to improve city life for everyone in the future, e.g. our building materials made from fungi.

When? 26.03.2026 – 27.06.2027
Where? Deutsches Technikmuseum, Trebbiner Straße 9, 10963 Berlin
