Multiscale characterisation and modification

Three sub-projects focus on the investigation and prediction of the properties of fungal composites using multiscale, computer-aided models regarding diverse application scenarios. In addition, specific properties are introduced by physical and chemical nanofunctionalisation. The aim is to describe and predict the behaviour of fungal composites and to extend their property profiles through nanofunctionalisation. Larger numbers of test samples for the collaborating sub-projects are provided via the Service Project.
