The Central Administrative Project (Z) bundles and coordinates all issues related to the organisation and administration of the CRC. Funds, equal opportunity measures, and networking activities across sub-projects and locations (e.g., physical and digital meetings for operational consultation, Annual Plena, meetings, workshops, scientific seminars) are coordinated in consultation with the Executive Board.
In addition, Z ensures the consortium’s internal and external self-conception in the sense of a ‘Corporate Identity’, i.e., a cooperative association for realising the research vision of MY-CO BUILD. It also ensures that all experimental and numerical research data obtained become integrated into the MY-CO BUILD database according to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
Our data steward develops together with all consortium members generic and specialised strategies to meet the requirements of all types of data. For the development and sustainable use of the MY-CO BUILD database, collaboration with the NFDI project FAIRmat (a federated FAIR data infrastructure for materials data) and the MaterialDigital project (a federated material digitalisation platform for materials data) ensures proper research data management and access to all MY-CO BUILD materials data.
